This post addresses questions about peace and finding answers to surviving in the midst of wars on the outside and the even greater wars that exist on the inside. It is authored by Yaron Yemini and contributed to by Nancy Lee Broderson who met through talking with Abu noor, found a strong connection, and now work together talking about this theme.
If you are waiting for peace to come to you from the ending of all wars, from a new government, from moving to a new place, from the learning of a concept, from the attainment of a certain age, certain status, certain monetary achievement...stop waiting. Peace resides inside of every individual and must be found by that individual. Here you will read a personal story that leads to a way to the master teacher of his age, Maharaji.
Through Maharaji, you can learn to unlock the secrets of your heart and live a life filled with joy so all encompassing, that all the pressures of life cannot diminish it. This is an invitation to explore this way of life with us in an ongoing manner. Your comments and insights will be most appreciated and we hope you will follow this blog and become a part of the conversation.

Thank you Yaron and Nancy for this blog where we can discuss issues that are becoming more and more necessary in this world...
most of the world forgot what the word 'peace' actually means and some people went on saying that paeceful people are coward people...
we need peace more than ever now, cause we need a break, a break to stop and look around us and see what humans did to this planet and to the resources and to themselves....
we are all seeking the truth, no matter what our religion or race is, the common thing is we are all seeking the truth....
and peace is something that is in this world's hands but sadly most of the people now choose not to use it...
hate and war and division are almost ruling the world now, but i am sure that peace will win in the end, and thats what matters...
thanks to both of you for taking the time to write such beautiful words. EAch of us seeks peace in our own way I guess. NAtions seek it by raging wars. Religious leaders condemn non believers and believe this is the way to peace. Find it through meditation I hear over and over. Take away all guns and there will be peace the gun haters cry. Divorce me and i will find peace screams the angry wife.
But none of these things brings the peace that you two portray here on this blog. Yours is a lasting peace I believe that time cannot take away. It is the peace you find on the wind and under the stars on a warm summer night. It is the stillness you feel when you stand alone in a desert with nothing but drifting sand all around you. It is the contentment you feel when you hold the hand of a loved one for the first time.
And i think each of us will fight to hold on to that peace we experience. BUt what you speak about is so much more. It is peace in the middle of a war. It is peace inside when the whole world has gone insane. It is peace even when you have lost everything that you ever loved, knowing it is gone forever. It is a peace we all need today in this maddening world. Don'T you think?
